I've always felt that empathy is the oft overlooked yet crucial element of communication. For me, illustration can work to engage our imaginations and exercise our ability to empathize when we, as viewers, decide to place ourselves in a scene, invoking sensations of adventure, longing, or accomplishment. I'm at my most passionate when creating illustration that invites viewers to share such an experience
